Feeling overwhelmed?

[*Friends, please note that I’m just talking general life overwhelm here, not anything like anxiety or panic. If that’s what you’re feeling, please draw on your tried-and-tested strategies and if you need to, contact someone who will be able to help you.]
Find yourself a quiet room and sit in it, for 30 minutes. Leave your phone outside, on a timer. Don’t have anything within reach except a piece of paper and a pen [but try not to use these for the 30 minutes].
Then begin. Get comfy, take a deep breath. Just sit.
When the timer goes off, take a few notes, if you need to – about what you noticed, about anything you’ll do now. Then go on your way.
