Just notice
Monday, July 24, 2017I am increasingly convinced that it is important to notice when you’re happy. And not just happy but also, when you’re feeling good.
It is so easy to be aware of feeling stressed and tired and stretched and annoyed and worried. And those feelings take up so much space that sometimes, feelings of okayness or comfort or calm or happiness or joy or balance go unnoticed.
Maybe you’re sitting on the carpet and your kids are climbing on you and giggling.
Or maybe you’re with your friends and they’re talking and you’re just sitting, soaking it up.
Or perhaps you’re taking the dog for a walk and it’s cold but the sun is shining and you’re listening to an interesting podcast.
Mabe none of those things but something else, that feels right to you.
Just notice. Take a moment to notice. That is all.
