Little and often
Thursday, July 28, 2022When you’re aiming for exciting bold change, it is super [super!] easy to be discouraged if you can’t find big blocks of time to be working towards your goals and if you don’t see substantial change, fast.
Rather than focusing on big I would encourage you to emphasise Little and Often [repeat after me: Little and Often, Little and Often!]
If you can find big chunks of time to commit to your project – fantastic! But in the absence of that, know that all those small efforts and gains are still adding up.
To help you with this, you might like to create a List of 10 Minute Tasks – things you can do on the tram to work or while you’re waiting for the water to boil or while you’re hanging around at your kids’ soccer games.
Remember – when you complete each task to tick it off [yes! great feeling! But don’t remove it from the list – you want to be able to see just how much you’ve achieved!
