luck
Thursday, November 26, 2009Do you believe in luck?
I generally believe that input matches output: expectation defines experience. If you see the world as a shiny place and expect the best from others, you will naturally see and invite good. And if you believe the world is rotten and that others are mean, your experience will most likely mirror and reinforce your original, negative beliefs.
I am conscious, however, that there are some people who stand tall and believe in the world, despite being relentlessly challenged by crushing difficulty. And there are others who grumble and moan and yet are blessed with sparkling lives.
Is that about luck?
I don’t know.
