Do all the things that you know will set you up for success:
- Morning person? Set aside time from 5am till when the kids get up
- Need coffee? Get a cup before you start
- Know you’ll be distracted by your phone? Give it to someone else for a couple of hours
- Worried about interruptions from friendly neighbours? Lock the door and sit where they can’t peer in
- Work best with music? Set up a playlist the week before
- Know a workout fuels your brain cells? Go for a run beforehand
- Can’t think properly when you’re too cold? Have some socks on standby
Consciously preparing for your goal striving efforts will help you achieve, which will further your continued interest in the goal and fuel your willingness to keep on trying!
You are the expert in you, so get clear on your own conditions for success, put them into place and…go for it!
