shrunk
Tuesday, October 25, 2011the thing with staying inside and studying all day is that you don’t end up with much to blog about.
I am studying for exams this week and my world has shrunk:
I could tell you all about the view from my desk. About the stay-at-home-dad and his two little boys who live across the road from me. Whenever the sun is shining they hang out in their front garden, Doing Stuff. Mostly the dad gardens and the boys muck around [biking/climbing/wrestling/fighting/making.up] Last week the dad built a mini bike ramp for them and it was excellent! Little legs and arms flying everywhere! [I noticed that it disappeared just before mum.got.home.from.work].
I could tell you about the school bell that I can hear as I sit at my desk. It sounds like a fire alarm and I day.dream about what it would be like if they replaced it with music, the kind of music that makes you feel happy and want to dance a bit wonkily.
I could tell you about the best time to have your second.coffee.of.the.day [10.20].
I could tell you that power naps in the mid-afternoon sun sometimes have the tendency to extend.
I could tell you all of this stuff [but it could be a bit boring and not.life.enhancing].
One more week friends!
