thanks(giving)
Friday, November 26, 2010Where I am (at the moment), folk are giving thanks.
The historical aspect of the day is not necessarily one that resonates with me. But I love the idea of a collective and a personal expression of gratitude.
There’s the big stuff that I’m grateful for: friends, family, health, love. (of course).
but then there’s the little stuff: [chestnuts, woolly gloves and warm capes, emails from lovely.friends (and photos of their little people!), skype, crunchy leaves, books that fuel.my.passion, art that makes my brain beat, subways, long end.of.day.baths, hand.holding, his chest (that I turn in on, against the wind), honesty, potential, growing, cinnamon granola, cameras and memory.catching, coffee (always coffee), blogs that inspire, last.light, looking.forward.to.going.home]
So much. And the more I think about it, the more there is.
