The Confidence Primer
Monday, May 15, 2017One of the big life challenges that I hear from clients all the time is this: I really [really] struggle with confidence. I wish I was more confident. I would do it, if only I felt more confident.
The women who talk to me about confidence are smart and funny and creative and open. They’re amazing friends and daughters and colleagues and bosses and mums and partners. They’re cool [in all their very own ways] and sassy and popular and wise and worldly and thoughtful and all those good things. They’re the kinds of people you might look at and think: I wish I was more like her. But they’re looking at others, thinking exactly that same thing.
It’s wearing me out. I am so tired of women who have exactly what they need, feeling like they don’t.
Now, don’t get me wrong: I’m not tired of them sharing their feelings with me. [I will never tire of that!] I’m just really, really, really tired of women feeling less than.
And so I have been thinking about how I might be able to do something to help, even in just a very small way.
The Upstairs Confidence Primer is for anyone out there who could do with some fresh, practical, they-will-actually-work strategies to boost confidence.
It’s available by sign up here. I’d love you to have a read and to share it with any of your most favourite people. And if you find yourself with a moment to let me know your thoughts, I would love to hear.
